Selection Process
Selection for all Group “A” posts, i.e. Research Officers & LIO will be through Computer
Based (Online) Test (CBT) followed by an Interview. The CBT will comprise 70 marks and
interview will comprise 30 marks. In case of all other Group “B” and Group “C” posts, the
selection will be based only on the basis of performance in CBT comprising 100 marks. The
scheme of Examination, distribution of marks and subjects from which likely questions to be framed are given below for each post separately.
Eligibility or Educational Qualification

CCRAS Group A, B, C Exam Pattern
- The questions will be bilingual, i.e. in English and Hindi, except for the post of RA (Sanskrit) and Translator (Hindi Assistant).
- There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer in the computer
based test. - The individual has to satisfy himself/herself that he/she fulfils the eligibility
criteria for the post applied. If at any stage he/she is found to be ineligible,
his/her candidature will be cancelled. - Merely satisfying the eligibility conditions, will not entitle a candidate to be
called for online exam or interview. - For Group “A”: For all candidates, except PWD: 60 Minutes.
- For PWD: 80 Minutes.
- For Group “B” and Group “C” Posts: For all candidates, except PWD: 90 Minutes.
- For PWD: 120 Minutes.
