About the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)
CISCE was established in 1952, its main purpose was to replace the overseas Cambridge School Certificate Examination by an All Indian Examination. The inaugural meeting of Council held in 1958. It was registered as a society in 1860. CISCE listed in Delhi School Education Act 1973 as a body conducting Public Examinations. It was a leader in providing worldwide education endeavors. It conducts 3 exams like ICSE (Class X), ISC (Class XII), and CVE (Year 12).
CISCE ICSE Class X Textbooks
ICSE X Class Textbooks are prescribed by Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). CISCE provided a list of textbooks for each subject and must be followed by the students. Subjects in CISCE ICSE Class X
CISCE ICSE 10th Class Subjects are provided here. There are three groups of subjects provided in ICSE Class 10 they are, Group I(Compulsory Subjects), Group II (Any 2 of the Subject), Group III (Any one of the subject). The Subjects in Group I are 1) English, 2) Second Languages (i.e.) a) Indian Languages or b) Modern Foreign Languages, 3) History, Civic, and Geography. Group II has Subjects like Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), Economics, Commercial Studies, Modern Foreign Language, Classical Language, and Environmental Science.
