Selection Process with Exam Scheme

Forest Ranger
Two stages:
Online Objective & Multiple Choice Type examination followed by Physical Test.
Stage-I
General Aptitude– 100marks/100questions
a) General Intelligence + Reasoning – 25 marks/25 questions
b) General Awareness – 25 marks/25 questions
c) Quantitative Aptitude – 25 marks/25 questions
d) English Comprehension – 25 marks/25 questions Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Technology & Environment – 100marks/100questions Total – 200 marks/200 Questions [Duration (03) Three hours].
Stage-II
Physical Test
The minimum standards for height and chest girth for a candidate shall be as follows:

However, the above height standards are relaxable to the extent given below in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Races such as Assamese, Bhutanese, Garhwali’s, Gorkhas, Kumaonise, Ladakhese, Mizo, Naga, Nepalese, Sikkimese and those from Arunachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti, Meghalaya
Male – 152 Cm
Female – 145 CM
(b)Male/Female candidates must pass a Physical Test Covering a distance of 25/16 KMs respectively within four hours on foot.
Forest Guard
Two stages
Online Objective Multiple Choice Type examination followed by Physical Test
Stage I:
a) General Intelligence + Reasoning – 40 marks/40 questions
b) General Awareness – 40 marks/40 questions
c) Quantitative Aptitude – 40 marks/40 questions
d)English Language & Comprehension – 40 marks/40 questions
e)Hindi Language & Comprehension – 40 marks/40 questions
Total – 200 marks/200 Questions (Duration Two hours).
Stage II:
