The candidature of the candidate will be entirely provisional and mere issuance of Admit Card or appearance at Written Test, Skill Tests and/or Interview shall not entitle him/her to raise any claim for appointment to the post. No TA / DA will be payable to the candidates for appearing in the Preliminary OMR based Written Test, Skill Tests and Interview.
Note: It is also notified that no correspondence (either by post or bye-mail received in this Court) with respect to the’ change of date of examination, eligibility criteria of any category, permissible documentary proofs and after conduct of the examination, with respect to the expected date of declaration of result, conduct of interview, etc., will be entertained. Selection Process
Provisionally eligible candidates will require to appear for Preliminary Examination (OMR
based Objective Type), Skill Tests (Driving Skill Test on Simulator as well as on road in Real
Traffic Conditions) and Interview.

Candidates have complete Graduation from a recognised University with typing knowledge.
Age Limit
Applicants age limit should be minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 27 years
High Court of Delhi Chauffeur Exam Pattern
Preliminary Examination – It will Consist 100 marks (OMR based Objective Type)
- The Preliminary Examination would consist of theory paper (in Hindi as well as English languages) comprising 50 Multiple Choice Questions on driving skillslknowledge, road signals, road safety, advanced navigation and GPS technologies, basic mechanical knowledge, etc. of 02 marks each.
- There would be 25% negative marking (i.e., deduction of 0.50 mark for each
wrong answer).
Skill Test – It will Consist 100 Marks
Driving Skill Test on Simulator (50 Marks)
Driving Skill Test on road in Real Traffic Conditions (50 Marks).
Interview
Preference shall be given to candidates having proficiency knowledge of driving automatic vehicles and/or possessing any certificate of having undergone driving course from recognised/certified Institution(s).
