GATE Exam Pattern
The exam is commenced through online mode as Computer Based Test (CBT), the questions are displayed on the computer screen with random answers. All the questions are asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) or objective type questions. candidates should select any one of the choices to attend the question. The 1st section is General Aptitude having 10 questions and 2nd section have Technical + Engineering Mathematics having 8 to 10 questions will be provided.

Numeric Questions
In GATE question paper, the numeric questions are asked without any options, for every question carry 1 to 2 marks in all sections.
