IIT JAM Exam Pattern 2020
There are totally 60 questions are asked from each and every subject. All the questions are grouped into under the three different sections i.e., Section – A, Section – B, Section – C.

Details about Sections and Question Types
- In Section A, there are totally 30 questions will be asked in the format of objective type. The first 10 questions have the weightage of one mark for each correct answer and for the incorrect answer 1/3 mark will be deducted from the total marks. Remaining 20 questions, each and every correct answer have the weightage of 2 marks and for the incorrect answer, 2/3 marks will be deducted from the total marks. There are no negative marks for the unattempted
- In Section B, there are totally 10 questions will be asked in the format of Multiple Select Questions. Each and every correct answer will be awarded 2 marks. There are no negative marks in this section.
- In Section C, there are totally 20 questions will be asked in the type of Numerical Answer. The first 10 questions have the weightage of one mark for each correct answer. Remaining 10 questions have the weightage of 2 marks for each correct answer. There are no negative marks in this section.

IIT JAM 2020 Answer Key
After JAM 2020 exam, the provisional Answer key will be available in the online mode. Subsequently, the official Answer key will be released by the concerned authority. From the JAM 2020 Answer key, candidates can check their correct and incorrect answer and also calculate the total marks.
IIT JAM 2020 Result
Candidates are shall have to wait for their JAM 2020 result after completing the JAM exam has conducted in February. The JAM 2020 exam result will be announced on 20 March 2020. Students may apply the admission based on the getting sufficient eligible cut off score. Admission process will be two or more selection based on the candidate’s cut off marks.
