About JIPMER PG Exam 2020

The admission process to the like MD / MS / MDS / DM / M.Ch will be made annually during January and July sessions by conducted the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER). After the counselling process, the commencement of the PG courses for the eligible candidates will be on 1st January 2020.

JIPMER PG Exam Eligibility Criteria

1). Nationality

Candidates from the category of Indian Citizens, Foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI candidates must submit the OCI certificate) and Indian candidates sponsored by the Government.

Note: The Foreign Nationals candidate’s MBBS degree should be registered under the Medical Council of the concerned country where the bachelor’s degree was pursued before applying the JIPMER PG 2020 exam.

2). Educational Qualifications
  • A candidate must possess MBBS or BDS degree for MD / MS / MDS / DM / M.Ch courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.
  • It is compulsory to have completed the required period of 12 months rotating Internship / Practical training by the students who are willing to apply the JIPMER PG exam.

JIPMER PG Exam Marking Scheme

JIPMER PG exam has a different marking scheme based on the candidate’s applying for postgraduate courses. For MD / MS course entrance exam has a total of 250 questions and MDS / DM / M.Ch course has the total number of 100 questions. There are no marks will provide for unattempted questions.
