JoSAA Joint Seat Allocation Authority organized for regulate and responsibility of joint seat allocation for admissions to 92 participating institutions. Rules of JoSAA 2020 Rank list
The main rules will be used at the time of rank list announcement i.e. if two or more candidates will obtain the same aggregate marks the some of the rules will be followed. The rules are, the Higher rank will be obtained to the candidate who has secured more marks in the Mathematical subject, the second rules of who has secured more marks in the subject of Physics and the last rules of the rank will be allotted for which candidate will be older.
Category Wise Rank list of JoSAA 2020
The rank list will be prepared on after the results of JEE Main and JEE Advance 2020 announcement according to institutes and categories. And the JEE main result announced in April 30, 2020.
- Common Rank List – This list includes candidates belonging to GEN, GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC, SC-PwD, ST or ST-PwD. Foreign tag candidates are part of the CRL prepared that is based on JEE (Advanced) 2020
- OBC-NCL – This list includes candidates belonging to OBC-NCL or OBC-NCL-PwD
- SC – This list includes candidates belonging to SC or SC-PwD.
- ST – This list includes candidates belonging to ST or ST-PwD
- CRL-PwD – This will include candidates who fall in the category of GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD
- OBC-NCL-PwD – This will comprise of candidates belonging to OBC-NCL-PwD
- SC-PwD – This will include candidates belonging to SC-PwD
- ST-PwD – This will include candidates belonging to ST- PwD category
