This year, more than 50,000 students appeared for the Meghalaya Board SSLC Class 10 exams. In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 83.89 percent, higher than the figure in 2017, which stood at 54.10 percent.

eelam Kumari is declared topper of Class 10th with 577 marks followed by Darila Akor Kharmawphlang with 565 marks and Luigi Dalian Pasweth with 563 marks. Diana Kharbithai with 452 marks is declared the topper of class 12th Arts topper followed by Althea Phoebe Nongun with 444 marks. The overall pass percentage of Class 12th Arts stream is recorded at  76.28%

The Meghalaya Board of School of Education (MBOSE) was set up in 1973. The Meghalaya Board of School Education has regulated, control and supervise board exam in the state of Meghalaya, India.
