Selection Process

The selection of candidates for OPSC Medical Officer (AO) Recruitment 2017 to the posts of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) will be made on the basis of written test and career marks. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th class, 12th, and M.B.B.S.) and 70% for written Test.

Eligibility or Qualification 

Candidates should have M.B.B.S. or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India, valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Rules 1965.
The candidate must have occupied M.B.B.S. or equivalent Degree from Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
