NTSE Reservation Criteria 2020
SC Category – 15 % Percentage
ST Category – 7.5 % Percentage
OBC Category – 27 % Percentage (Non-creamy Layer) (as per central list)
Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) Category – 10 % (Those who have not covered under the reservation scheme for SCs / STs / OBSs)
Persons with Disability Category – Benchmark disabilities – 4 % Percentage
- Which one percent each shall be reserved for persons with benchmark disability below clauses
(a) Blindness and low vision (BLV)
(b) Deaf and Hard of hearing (DH)
(c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy (LD).
- One percentage percent for persons with benchmark disability below clauses
(d) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness (AID),
(e) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness in the posts identified for each disability (MD)
Punjab NTSE Exam Pattern
Punjab NTSE stage 1 exam pattern is given below. The medium of the exam is Punjabi or English. There is no negative mark. Totally 200 questions and each question carry one mark. The questions are multiple choices and objective type questions. Punjab NTSE stage 1 examination there is no prescribed syllabus. Class IX and Class X standard level questions shall be conforming.

Paper 2 Scholastic Aptitude Test is including eight subjects. The subject name and number of questions are given below.

NTSE Qualifying Mark
National Talent Search Examination Stage 1 qualified score is given following. The general, OBC category qualified mark is 40 % in each paper (Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test). The SC, ST and PH category qualified mark is 32 % in each paper (Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test). Students who are qualified in level 1 exam, those only eligible to attend the level 2 exam.
Punjab NTSE Cut Off 2020
NTSE Punjab 2020 scholarship quota is 183 seats. Punjab NTSE cut off to be published on the official web page. National Talent Search Examination cut off will set in according to the exam factors. The important factors are state / Union territory criteria, the maximum and minimum marks and the differences, Stage 1 and Stage 2 exam difficulty level and the total number of exams appeared students. NTSE Scholarship 2020
NTSE 2000 Scholarship will be awarded by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) New Delhi. The scholarship details are given following. Class XI and XII scholarship are Rs 1250/- per month, Undergraduates and Post-graduates scholarship are Rs 2000/- per month and Ph.D. amount of scholarship is fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.
