Selection Procedure of RRB Malda Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) / Technician (Grade 3)
A candidate who is going to appear in RRB Malda 2018 Exam will be shortlisted on the basis of Written examination followed by a Computer-based test, Document verification, Aptitude Test & Medical Examination. In the first round, a candidate needs to qualify the computer-based test.

Written Exam: In the written exam question will be multiple choice questions, the questions are asked from General Awareness, Arithmetic, Reasoning ability, Technical ability, General intelligence. The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and Local languages. The total duration of exam is 90 minutes with probably 100 questions. The negative mark of 1/3 will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Document verification: During the document verification, candidates will have to submit their original document. No additional time will be given to the candidates if any of candidate fails to produce an original document on the date of verification.
A Diploma/ Certificate or Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or if you have certificate related to computer or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a pass any degree/diploma or certificate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Medical Fitness test: Candidates eligible for appointment will have to qualify for the medical fitness test conducted by RRB. Eye visual acuity standard is one of the important modes of medical fitness for Indian Railway staff.
