Sainik School Chhingchhip, Mizoram released admission notification for the two classes Class VI and Class IX. Class VI Admission invited for both boys and girls and Class IX for only girls. Admission process is done by the entrance examination called as All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE). AISSEE Entrance Examination to be held on 5th January 2020. Sample papers, prospectus of AISSEE Entrance Examination is available for download in official website and also here. Exam is based on OMR System with Multiple Choice Questions. Sainik school s a residential school follows CBSE Syllabus and has only science stream. Admission procedure and other details are given below.

Eligibility Criteria
For Class VI
The Boys and Girls age should be between 10 to 12 years as on March 31 2020. i.e. Boys and girls must be born between April 1st 2008 to March 31st 2010(Both days are inclusive).
For Class IX
The Boys age should be between 13 to 15 years on March 31 2020. Boys must be born between April 1st 2005 to March 31st 2007(Both days are inclusive) and those who seek class IX admission must be studying Class VIII in any recognized school.
Selection Procedure
- Written Examination.
- Medical Examination.
Admission will be strictly based on merit. Those who qualified in written examination will be called for Medical examination.
