Sainik School Kalikiri, Andhrapradesh released a notification for admission to Class VI for the academic year 2020-2021. Sainik schools are residential schools for boys which are based on the CBSE Curriculum. Admission for Sainik School Kalikiri is done on the basis of the All India Entrance Examination known as AISSEE. The admission process will be in online mode only Examination Date of AISSEE IS January 5th, 2020(Sunday). AISSEE is an OMR Based examination with Multiple Choice questions with four options. Sainik schools are residential schools for boys to provide Public School Education with military bias up to the higher secondary stage. It is affiliated to the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) Syllabus. The admission process is done through the All India examination and has schools in every state in India. i) 15% of total seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.
ii) 7.5% Seats reserved for Schedule Tribes.
iii) Out of the remaining 67% seats reserved for boys of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
iv) Balance 33% of seats are given to other states and Union Territories Students.
v) Any unutilized seats will be merged with home State seats in order of merit.
vi) 25% of seats are reserved for children of service personnel including ex-servicemen.

The official website filled through www.kalikirisainikschool.com Scholarship for the students is based on the merit of the students and on the basis of the income of their parents. The social & Tribal Welfare Departments and Government of Andhra Pradesh provide scholarships to SC/ST boys based on the parent’s income. All scholarships are based on the timely release of funds by state governments.
