Sainik School Korukonda Situated in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh recently released notice for the admission to Class VI & Class IX for the academic year 2020-2021 on its official website. The admission process will be based on the All India Entrance Examination (AISSEE) which will be conducted on January 5th, 2020 (Sunday). AISSEE Entrance exam 2020 will have objective type questions and OMR Based multiple-choice questions. Sample papers are given on the site for the students to prepare for the examination. About Sainik Schools & Aim
Sainik schools are residential schools for boys to provide Public School Education with military bias up to the higher secondary stage. It follows the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) Syllabus. It follows All India selection & examination and has schools in every state in India. Aim of the Sainik schools is to prepare boys physically, academically and psychologically for entry into NDA. There are more than 30 Sainik schools in India. The main aim of the Sainik schools is to provide residential education especially for the students from village areas. Mark Scheme
The entrance examination will be conducted based on objective type questions and must be written on OMR Sheet. The medium of Examination for both Classes will be conducted in English, Hindi or any other recognized official language and question papers for class VI will be in English and all the recognized official languages. But for Class IX Question papers will be in English only. For Class IX the Paper Consists of Subjects like Maths, English, General Science and Social Studies with a total of 400 marks. For Class VI there are four sections Maths, GK (Science & SST), Language and Intelligence with a total of 300 marks.
Merit List
Admission for Class VI and Class IX will be strictly based on merit and medical fitness only. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the students. The final mark list will be provided only to the parents/guardian of the students. Fees for the final mark list Rs.100 need to be paid by the parents. The admission application process will be done only online. The selection procedure will be done based on written examination and medical examination.
