Aim
Main aim of the school is to remove the inequality in the defence services office cadre, improve mental, physical character of boys to make them responsible citizen, to reach out to the public man with public education.
Curriculum
Sainik schools are member of Indian Public School Conference and are affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. School teaches classes from VI to XII. It teaches only Science stream in senior secondary Class XI, XII to prepare boys to get enter into NDA. Not only education it is also trains students in sports and other extra-curricular activities.
Exam Pattern
For Class VI Entrance exam conducted in following subjects Mathematics, General Knowledge consists of Science and Social Science, Language and Intelligence. 125 Questions are asked totally in this examination. Duration of the examination in 2 hour and 30 minutes (150 minutes). Intelligence question paper will be given to the students after finishing all other sections.
For Class IX Entrance exam conducted in following subjects Mathematics, English, Intelligence, General Science and Social Science. 125 Total Questions asked in this examination is 400. Duration of the examination is 180 minutes (3 hours).

Age and Eligibility
For the admission of boy’s sainik school society made some cutoff dates as eligibility for both VI and IX Classes.
For Class VI
Boys aged between 10 to 12 years and also he must be studying Class V in a recognized school. i.e Boys born between April 1st 2008 to March 31st 2010.
For Class IX
Boys aged between 10 to 12 years and also he must be studying Class VIII in a recognized school. i.e Boys born between April 1st 2005 to March 31st 2007.

Selection Procedure
The selection procedure for the admission is consists of two phases’ namely written examination and medical examination. After written examination medical examination takes place based on the merit list of written examination. Examination results will be purely based on merit and school does not encourage any coaching institute or agents in this regard.
Medium of Examination
Examination will be based on OMR System with Multiple Choice question with four options. For Class VI Examination is in Hindi and English and for Class IX it will be only on English. Students can only apply on online and not any other means.
Reservations
- SC -15% of total seats reserved.
- ST- 7 ½ % of total seats reserved.
- Out of remaining 77.5% seats 67% seats reserved for boys from Haryana State(Home State)
- Balance 33% reserved for other states & union territories in the ratio of their male population.
- 25% of seats are reserved for children for service personnel including ex-servicemen.
