Sainik School Satara Admission Entrance Examination 2020-2021 Apply Online

Sainik School Satara, Maharastra is the residential Sainik school that recently released Notification for the Admission of Class VI and Class IX Students in their School. All India Sainik School Entrance will be conducted for the selection of students for the academic year 2020-2021. AISSEE Examination will be held on January 5th, 2020(Sunday). Sample question papers, School prospectus available on the official website and also here. AISSEE is an OMR based examination system and also have multiple-choice questions with four options. Students can only apply & pay the fees also in online mode only. Admission is purely based on merit only.

Eligibility Criteria

Class Criteria
Class VI Boys born between April 1st 2008 to March 31 2010
Class IX Boys born between April 1st 2005 to March 31 2007

(both days inclusive) boys should be studying in class VIII in a recognized school

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is based on two stages they are

  1. Written Examination.
  2. Medical Examination.

  3. Out of the remaining 67% seats for boys from Maharastra
  4. Balance 33% for other states & union territories in the ratio of their male population.(any unutilized seats in this category will be merged with home State seats in order of merit)
  5. 25% of seats are reserved for children for service personnel including ex-servicemen.

Medium of Examination

Entrance Examination will be held in the January month of every year. Class VI Question papers will be in bilingual (English and Hindi) and also in Marathi. For Class IX Question papers will be in English only.

 Call Letters

The result of the written examination will be published on the school website in the 3rd / 4th week of February. The call-up letter for medical and interview will b available soon on the school website and a hard copy of the above will also be sent by post to candidates. A final declaration will be declared in the month of March. Mark list of candidates can be bought by parents & guardians by paying Rs.100/- Online.

Special Assistance scholarship is Rs.15,000/- (Approx) for all cadets except SWD scholarship holders)

 How to apply

Students fill the application by online mode only. They can apply in either of the website or from 05 Aug 2019 to 10 Oct 2019. Incomplete application will be rejected and fees paid once will not be refunded. Detailed steps to apply are given in the website.
