Sainik School Tilaiya, Jharkhand opened admission for Classes VI and IX (Boys Only). Admission made by All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted all over India. AISSEE is the Entrance exam conducted for admission to Class VI and Class IX which is Multiple Choice questions based Exam with four options. The OMR system will be followed in AISSEE 2020. Eligibility Criteria
For Class VI (Sixth) – Boys born between April 01, 2008 and March 31, 2010.
For Class IX (Ninth) – Boys born between April 01, 2005 and March 31, 2007, both days are inclusive and passed VIII Class from a recognized school.

Selection Procedure
- Written Examination.
For Class VI – Total Marks –300 marks (Medium of exam – English & Hindi)
For Class IX – Total Marks – 400 marks. (Medium of exam – English Only)
- Medical Examination.
No interview will be conducted for both Classes.

Steps for Online registration
- First, visit the Sainik school admission website at sainikschooladmission.in. Before applying read the instructions given on the website.
- Candidates are requested to keep recent scanned Photo, Signature, Domicile Certificate, and Caste Certificate before applying Online.
Uploading photo & Signature
- Students need to upload a recent Scanned passport size color photograph & signature. The size of the scanned photo and signature must not exceed 1 MB in size.
Documents need to be uploaded
- Birth Certificate (Issued by Municipal Committee/Board/Corporation) or Extract of Date of birth entered in service documents.
- TC issued by previous School (Mandatory for Class IX Candidates)
- Domicile Certificate (Issued by State Government)
- Caste Certificate (Issued by State Government)
Preview & Editing
- Candidates need to verify the information before entering it in the online application form. Once the Fee is paid you cannot edit the application.
- Uploaded Certificates will be verified at certain stages of the exam process. Candidature will be rejected if the documents not produced on request.
Online Payment
- After the candidate successfully completes his registration has to pay the online registration Fee.
- Fees can be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking. After paying fees payment confirmation will display on the screen.
Application Form Printing
- The Application form can be printed by the candidates by using Print Form in the Candidate profile.
- Candidate must keep a copy of the Application form safely for future correspondence.
Admit Card Printing
- The Admit Download notification will be displayed on the school admission site sainikschooladmission.in using the path provided by the site.
- Login with application form number and Password (sent while registering application).
- SMS will also send to the registered mobile number about downloading of Admit card.
