SMIT Admission 2020: Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology has announced the UG / PG admission date 2020. SMIT Application Form 2020 has been started on 1st October 2019. SMIT admission form last date is 1st April 2020. SMIT B.Tech Offline test will be conducted on 19th April 2020. Applicants can submit the SMIT 2020 Application Form either in the mode of online or offline. The online Application form will be available on the official page of the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

Candidates can apply in the mode of online at www.applysmit.in for the admission into B.Tech/BBA/BCA/MBA/MCA/M.Tech/B.Sc IT/M.Sc IT. At the time of form filling, applicants should pay the application fees of Rs. 1000/-

Eligibility Criteria for SMIT Offline Test 2020

Program Eligibility
B.Tech (4 years) Passed 10+2 qualifying examination with the aggregate of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates from the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology/Informatics Practices

(or)

Passed Diploma in any branch of Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates from a State Board of Technical Education

(or)

Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply for the admission

B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Completed 3 years diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering with at least 60% marks for General and 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates

(or)

Passed B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum of 60% marks for General and 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates

BBA, BCA, B.Sc IT Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates
M.Tech Students should have completed Bachelor’s degree examination in the relevant field with at least 55% marks for General and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates

(or)

M.Sc & MCA candidates are also eligible for M.Tech (CSE/IT)

MBA, MCA Passed Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates and also appearing in any one of the entrance test MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT

Entrance exam conducted by SMIT followed by GD/PI

SMIT Offline Test Admit Card 2020

The E-Hall ticket will be issued to the candidates through registered email address before a week to the commencement of the entrance test. SMIT 2020 Admit Card is the essential document for appearing in the entrance exam. Examiners can get the entire details about the offline test and exam centre of the examination from the downloaded SMIT 2020 Admit Card.

SMIT Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2020

The questions will be asked in the offline test in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There are no negative marks will be provided for the incorrect and unattended questions.

The syllabus will be covered from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in the level of intermediate examination.

SMIT 2020 Counselling & Admission

After the exam completion, the result of offline test will be announced by the exam conducting authority. the merit list will be published on the official page of the SMIT. The counselling call letter will be sent to the qualified candidates through the email address. The admission will be provided purely only on the basis of the merit list.
