Tamil Nadu Educational Minister Mr.KA.Sengottaiyan announced the official news about the TN Educational system will change completely from the 2018 academic year onwards. Based on the Govt Orders has passed the information about the educational standards like 1st standard to 12th standard there are likely to change exam pattern, new syllabus, dressings, exam timings most of the focus is equaled to CBSE syllabus.
The beginning has started from Withdraw / Cancelled the Ranking System for SSLC / 10th Class, 12th Class of annual board public examination. Now govt has listed the most important things to be focusing on the TN Educational Systems are listed below as follows.
- SSLC / 10th Class Top Ranking System Cancelled
- +2 / 12th Class Top Ranking System Cancelled
- 11th / + 1 / Plus One Class also Public Examination
- Three types of dressing code
- 1st standard to 12th standard New Exam Syllabus / Pattern
- 11th & 12th Class subject marks will be 600 (ie each subject 100 marks)
- Examination Duration / Timing will be 2.30 Hours only
- 11th & 12th Class will be special classes each day 1 hour extra and Saturday would be 3 hours extra class for appearing National Level Entrance exams like NEET, JEE, etc..,
Based on the official notification next three years step by step all the educational changes will be implemented.
- 2018-19 academic year 1st class, 6th class, 9th class, 11th class
- 2019-20 academic year 2nd class, 7th class, 10th class, 12th class
- 2020-21 academic year 3rd class, 4th class, 5th class, 8th class
Actually, in the past 12 years, the 11th & 12th class exam pattern has not changed, so the only govt has decided to change all the things.
Past few years students are struggled to get admission from nationalized colleges, universities for Medical, Engineering etc courses NEET, JEE Main / Advanced exams. Because of TN educational system has differed from the central board of education. So TN govt has decided to implement the new type of educational system it will impact students to get admission comparing past years.
