TANCET 2020 PG Admission for MBA, MCA and M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Degree programmes for the academic year 2020. All interested and eligible candidates may apply the Post Graduate Course under Anna University Colleges/Institutions.
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is an eligibility examination for studying post graduate courses like M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan., M.B.A. and M.C.A. in colleges of Tamil Nadu, India. This examination is conducted by Anna University, Chennai.
Programmes to available Study :
- Master of Business Administration (M.B.A)
- Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A)
- Master of Engineering (M.E) / Master of Technology (M.Tech)
- Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) / Master of Planning (M.Plan.)
Eligibility : Candidates should have to meet the following eligible criteria to apply
MBA : Must have pass any UG degree of 3 years course with minimum 50% in the qualifying degree examination.
MCA : Must have pass any UG degree of 3 years course with mathematics subject at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained at least 50 % in the qualifying degree examination.
MCA Lateral Entry : Must have pass UG degree in BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology) with mathematics and obtained at least 50 % in the qualifying degree examination.
M.E / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan : Must have pass UG in any Engineering Degree and relevant field and obtained at least 50 % in the qualifying degree examination.

Candidates appearing for the final semester / year of examination of the said qualifying degree course except courses offered by Professional Institution’s (like AMIE) during April/May 2020 may also apply for TANCET 2020.
Acceptance of a person as a candidate for writing the entrance test does not confer on the person, the right of equivalent eligibility for admission to any of the above courses. The decision on the eligibility for admission to a course entirely rests with the admitting authority offering the courses.
Other State Candidates can also appear for the entrance test, but the eligibility conditions will be stipulated by the admitting authority / University.
Examination Fee : All the applicants are requested to pay Entrance Test Fee a demand draft for Rs.500 ( Rs.250 for SC/SCA/St candidates belonging to Tamilnadu) drawn in favour of “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University , Chennai” payable at Chennai.
How to Apply / Register : Interested candidates can register for the entrance test through online mode using with the school and college certificates.
