TIFR GS / JGEEBILS Counselling 2020: The Interview & Assessment process for TIFR GS 2020 will commence after the announcement of the result. TIFR will release the merit list of JGEEBILS Entrance exam. The qualified candidates will be taking the interview at TIFR University centers. The interview will include face to face interview with faculty members in the concerned specialization. The candidates who have opted for M.Sc and Int.Ph.D have to specify whether they are going to take M.Sc only/ M.Sc preferred/ both equal/ Int.Ph.D preferred / Int.Ph.D during the first interview. The interview will tentatively take place from the end of February to the early of April 2020.
TIFR GS/JGEEBILS Interview 2020
The interview will have a one-on-one interaction session with up to three faculty members. Moreover, for TIFR, Mumbai candidates should choose the open labs prior to coming for the interview. The details of the same will be available on the official website. For M.Sc and Int.Ph.D programs, the candidate can attend the interview for both the courses but should have a preference for one program.
JGEEBILS Interview & Assessment 2020
The qualified candidates in the Entrance exam need to submit their bio-data, research proposals, and letters of recommendation. Final selection is fully on the basis of the performance in the interview process. The Interview will take place for 4 to 5 days. Candidates must report at the venue, given in the call letter for the first day of the interview process.
There will be 2 rounds of face to face interview. If a candidate is not shortlisted for the second round of interview, then they need not stay for the rest of the interviews process, they may leave. The first round will be having some basic set of question and topics in their area of interest. The second round will have a brief discussion about their interest, possible projects, see specimens, and ask about techniques- whatever suits the applicant and the faculty member.
Tips for TIFR GS / JGEEBILS Interview 2020
- Do not prepare for an interview by memorizing materials.
- Learn the Basic information and knowledge (B.Sc Level) in your concerned specialization.
- The interview will mainly focus on your basic understanding, breadth of knowledge and ability to solve problems.
- TIFR GS will have an expert to interview candidates in their area of primary expertise.

Accommodation for TIFR GS / JGEEBILS Interview
Candidate should plan their own arrangement for stay during the interview process. The TIFR will not provide any accommodation during the interview. The candidate can reserve for short distance accommodation or hotels close to the campus. Candidates should not forward any request regarding accommodation during the period of interviews.
