Bihar Police Constable & Fireman Driver PET / PST Details
All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be called to
appear in Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test at places finalized by
the Commission in consultation with the CPOs. Detailed scrutiny of their eligibility will
not be undertaken by the Commission before PET/ PST. Therefore, it will be the
responsibility of the candidate to verify their eligibility as prescribed in this notice
before appearing for PST/ PET

Physical Efficiency Test
(1) RACE : Candidates have to complete 1.6 km Race in given time :
- Male : 07 Minutes (Candidates who complete Race more than 07 Min will be disqualified)
- Female : 07 Minutes (Candidates who complete Race more than 07 Min will be disqualified)
(2) HIGH JUMP :
- Male : Minimum 3 Feet 06 inch
- Female : Minimum 2 Feet 06 inch
(3) LONG JUMP :
- Male : Minimum 10 Feet
- Female : Minimum 7 Feet
(4) SHOT PUT (Gola Phenk) :
- Male : Candidates have to throw Shot Put of 16 Pounds up to 14 Feet.
- Female : Candidates have to throw Shot Put of 12 Pounds up to 08 Feet.
MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVING TEST
Candidates who declare Qualify in Physical Efficiency Test will be called up for Driving Test. Testing Track will be provided to candidates. Based on their Qualification, Marks will be provided as :-
(A) Candidates Ability to Drive JEEP : 20 Marks. Marks will be provided as :

(D) Candidates will be asked 20 Questions prepared by 100 questions Driving Test oral Test & Sign related Committee. Maximum 20 Marks will be provided.
(E) For General Knowledge of Parts of Cars, Maintenance & Lubricating and Knowledge of Mechanical, Technical Fault of Vehicle : 20 Marks will be provided.
NOTE : Total Selection Process will be of 100 Marks. Contract Based Driver in Police will be provided 02 Marks (for each year experience), which is not greater that 06 Marks.
Medical Standard Test for (Bihar Police Constable )
General: Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot or squint eyes, and they should not be colour blind. Varicose vein shall be considered a temporary disqualification. They must be in good mental and bodily health. They must be free from any physical defects likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
Document Verification
Required Documents: (Xerox / copy to be enclosed along with Form A)
- Copy of Consolidated Mark sheet/ last mark sheet of essential qualification obtained. If the Institute / University assigns grades, conversion certificate if any, from respective University/College for calculating a percentage of marks.
- O.B document – 10th Standard certificate or Birth Certificate issued by the Municipality or such appropriate authority.
- Passport size photograph
- Caste certificate in the prescribed format in support of the claim of belonging to SC/ST/OBC duly issued by competent authority (if applicable)
- Certificate of Physical Challenge (if applicable)
