DSSSB Primary & Nursery Teacher 2019 TGT / PGT Recruitment Eligibility

Primary

  • Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent
  • Two year’s Diploma/ Certificate Course/ in Elementary Teacher Education Course/ Junior Basic Training or equivalent or bachelor of elementary education from a recognized institution.

Nursery

  • Must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary level.
  • Must have passed English as a subject at secondary or senior secondary level.
  • Candidates must have qualified CTET.

DSSSB Primary Teacher 2019 TGT / PGT & PRT Selection Process

The selection shall be made through Phase I and Phase II examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable

  • Written Examination
  • Personal Interview
  • Document verification

On the Day when you appears for written examination

  • Candidates require reaching at written examination location at least 30 minutes before.
  • Candidates are not permitting to bring books or other notes with them on examination centers.
  • Don’t come with your family because no one is permitted to go inside at examination center premises.
  • Calculator with memory, watches and other electronic item are not allowed to bring at written examination centers.
  • Candidates make sure to bring Admit Card/Hall ticket before appearing written examination.
  • Candidates have to bring with them 2 pencils and 2 sharpened.

Section-A:

General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc.
General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.
Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc.
Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language & Comprehension: In addition to the testing of candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc. would also be covered.

Two Tier Examination Schemes:

  1. Syllabus of TIER-I Exam will be same as of One Tier exam.
  2. Syllabus of TIER-II Exam:

Part-I (MCQ/Objective type)
General Intelligence & reasoning ability – same as in One Tier exam but with slightly higher level
Quantitative Aptitude – In addition to Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities as in tier-I with slightly higher level, there will be questions on data interpretation & Analysis.
General Awareness in addition to topics given for Tier-I there shall be question on history, culture, demography, geography & economy of Delhi, Administrative set up and Governance in NCT of Delhi, various schemes of Delhi Govt.
English language & Comprehension – same as in tier-I but with slightly higher level

  • The Exam will be Conduct in Two Phase Tier-I and Tier 2 (Only for Post Code 11/17, 12/17, 14/17)
  • There will be Two Section for Each Paper; Section-A will be of 1. General Awareness. 2. General Intelligence & Reasoning ability. 3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability. 4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension. 5. Test of English Language & Comprehension. (20 Marks each)
  • Section B will be based on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed for the post.
  • There Will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks/Questions.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION for DSSSB Primary Teacher 2019 TGT / PGT

In the examination hall, the call letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/Photo identity proof issued on original letter head by a Gazetted Officer/People’s Representative or Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ University (valid in current year)/Aadhar card / E-Aadhaar card with a photograph/ Employee ID, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
