About Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE)
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) Established in the year 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act. The Board Prescribes syllabus, Course of instruction, textbooks to the schools. It also conducts examination for class 10, class 12,J.B.T ,and T.T.C. Five lakh students write examinations every year. The Number of Schools affiliated to the Board is 8000. There are 1846 exam centers in the state. It also provides many online services to the students.

Himachal Pradesh Class 10/Matric course contains three groups. Groups contains Compulsory Subjects, Elective subjects. Groups are Group I, Group II (A), Group II (B).
