About Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC)
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was established in the year 2003. Council was formed by Jharkhand Academic Council Act 2002. It was constituted by the HRD Department of the State. After the formation of this council, the Bihar intermediate education council act, Sanskrit Education Act, Bihar board of Madrasa Board Act were repealed. It was established to conduct examinations for Intermediate, Secondary, High schools, Sanskrit schools, and Madrasas. It also provides recognition to all these Schools. Jharkhand JAC Now following CBSE Syllabus and NCERT Textbooks for all Classes.
