Jagadguru Ramanadacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University formerly known as Rajasthan Sanskrit University is a public state university situated in Madau (Bhankrota) Jaipur. It is a Sanskrit university established by the government of Rajasthan to cherish and promote Sanskrit education in India to get back its glory. University affiliates about more than 60 colleges/institutions of Acharya, Shastri and Shikshashastri level throughout the state. University was established on 1 February 2001 by Swami Shri 1008 Narayan Dasji Maharaj of Triveni Dham, Jaipur. Padmashri Mandan Mishra served as the first pro vice-chancellor of the university. On 27 June 2005 university was renamed as Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University.
