- OMR Based objective type multiple choice written test will be conducted for this Armed Police Constable jobs of Karnataka State Police Recruitment 2019.
- Armed Police Constable CAR/DAR Male candidates written test will be conducted in Kannada and English Languages. Written Test will be held for 100 marks.
- Total 100 questions will be given and for each correct answer one mark will be given and for each wrong answer, 0.25 negative mark will be deducted.
- Written Exam Duration is 90 Minutes. Based on merit in written exam, only candidates will be shortlisted for physical tests in the ration of 1:5.

Event 1 – Running
To pass in running event candidate must cover 2 Kilometer distance in 10 minutes.
For Ex-Serviceman 400 meter in 2 minutes
Event 2 – Long Jump or High jump
- Long Jump – Candidate must able to jump 3.80 meters long. Three chances will be given.
- High Jump – Candidate Must able to jump 1.20 meters high. Three chances.
Event 3 – Shot Put
Candidate must able to throw 7.26 kg shot / Gola to distance 5.60 meters. 3 chances.
Candidate need to pass in all three events to get selected for a further selection process. After this Karnataka Police Constable Physical test, there will be physical standard test. in this test Height and chest of a candidate will be check.
- A height of candidate must be 170 cm. (tribal – 155cm)
- Chest must be 86 cm with expansion. (tribal – 75 cm)
