About BSEM
The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was established by an on 1972 organized for regulating and controlling the academic activities, the prescription of conditions for granting recognition of standard I and VIII was also entrusted to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur. At present 786 high and higher secondary schools including 226 Government, 103 Government aided and 457 Private are affiliated to the Board for certification at end of secondary stage i.e. class X. The Board conducts public examination at the end of class X for the courses studied in class X only.
