Medical Officer – Graduate in Medicine and Surgery of a recognized University or any recognized equivalent degree of any other University or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. Must be registered with Haryana or Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council of India.
Section Officer  – Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) with 60% marks (1st Division) from recognised University having 3 years’ experience in an organisation of repute OR Master Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) with 55% marks and having 3 years’ experience of accounts in an organisation of repute.
Deputy Medical Superintendent – A basic University qualification included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1948 (102 of 1956), M.H.A (Master in Hospital Administration) or a post Graduate Degree recognized as equivalent to M.H.A. by the Medical Council of Indian or MS/ MD or equivalent. Minimum one-year working experience in a reputed Hospital after MS/MD/MHA or equivalent qualification and should have completed five years’ service after MBBS.

Exam Pattern for PGIMS Non-Teaching 2018 Group A & B, C

Obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the written test does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for being shortlisted for Personal Interview or the final selection, as the same is related to number of positions, relative performance in respective categories.
Final selection will be based on aggregate of Written Test and Personal Interview marks.
Candidates, in the order of merit will be offered the apprenticeship.

Tips for preparation of written examination

  • All candidates should give maximum time to their study regularly.
  • Candidates should make their study time or schedule of the day and accordingly start to preparing i.e. make sure to divide your entire time between all related subjects and prepare accordingly daily.
  • Candidates requires to maximum use of flow charts and diagram to understand deeply the concern topic.
  • Candidates must regular practice to solve old year examination papers; with this you will be able to increase your knowledge as well as time accuracy.
  • Group study is very useful to crack any written examination so we therefore advise to all concern contenders to make a group of eligible and suitable friends and study combindly one or two hour in a day and arise your question before them and explain your answer to others too.
  • Time breaks is also essential while preparing hard for any written examination so after 2-3 hours study candidates should take a break of 15-20 minutes for mind fresh.

It has grown leaps and bounds since then to become the epicentre for patient care from across Haryana as well as neighbouring States. In its nascent stage, Medical College was started as guest Institute in 1960 at Medical College, Patiala.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION for PGIMS Non-Teaching 2018 Group A & B, C

The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
