VITEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Students who wish to get admission at the Vellore Institute of Technology should need first check and ensure the eligibility criteria to appearing in the VITEEE 2020 Entrance Examination. Here we have mentioned the eligibility criteria for the VITEEE examination as follows.
Nationality
- The applying candidates should be a Resident /Non-Resident of Indian National / PIO
- Foreign candidates can apply directly through the category of foreign candidates via the separate application form which is available at the official page of VIT.
Age Limit
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply the examination of VITEEE 2020.
Qualifying Examination
Candidates should have secured the minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in the qualifying examination. For the category of SC/ST candidates only 50% of marks in the intermediate examination.
Students should have either completed or appearing in any one of the qualifying examination as mentioned as follows.
- The Higher Secondary Examination in the pattern of 10+2 which is conducted by the State Board/Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)/Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi)
- Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination which is conducted by a recognized Board/University
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London, Cambridge, Srilanka) at the Advanced Level.
- As per the VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible to appear in the VITEEE 2020. They must produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

VITEEE 2020 Application Form
Applicants may fill the application form after that who have met the eligibility aspects of the VITEEE 2020 examination. The application form is available either online or offline. VITEEE online application form is available in the official page of the VIT. The offline (OMR) application form is available from the selected post offices throughout India.

Step 1: Registration
Students should visit the official page of Vellore Institute of Technology for registering purposes. In this stage, aspirants should have to provide the necessary details such as the valid email address and mobile number for registering the VITEEE 2020 examination. After submitting the details, the application number and the password will be sent to the registered email address and mobile number.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
Candidates should use the valid details that the application number generated at the time of registering to complete the entire part of the application form. In this stage, they must provide the personal and educational details such as Name, Father & Mother Name, Age, Gender, Category, Nationality, Qualifying Examination, etc. All the details are must be verified by the candidates before they are submitting the application form.
Step 3: Upload the Documents
Students should have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in this stage. It is important to upload the necessary documents as mentioned while filling up the online application form.

The application fees may be paid by either in online or offline mode. In online mode, aspirants can be paid the application fees by any one of the online transaction method such as Credit/Debit/Net Banking. After uploading all the details in the application form, it will be navigated to the payment gateway portal to pay the application fees. The application form will be confirmed after the payment of the fee has been done. Finally, candidates are advised to print and keep safe the application form for proof of applying the examination of VITEEE 2020.

VITEEE 2020 Marking Scheme
VIT Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted for a maximum of 125 marks in the online mode of the examination. All the questions will be asked in the format of Objective/Multiple Choice Questions.

VITEEE Counselling 2020
All the shortlisted candidates based on the merit list will be called for the counselling process. Students can get admission at VIT University based on the merit list and course selection at the time of the counselling process. Aspirants should be attending the counselling process at the respective counselling centre as mentioned in the counselling call letter on a particular day.
No one will not be permitted to participate in the counselling more than one time under any circumstances.
