Students should check and ensure the eligibility criteria for appearing in the WBJEE 2020 examination. We have mentioned detailed below the application procedure for how to fill the application form. Aspirants may be filling up the application form easily through the below mentioned five steps.

Necessary Details to be filled in Registration Stage

Applicants should submit the below mentioned details in the correct manner at the time of form filling.

Step 1: Registration

In Registration stage, students should supply the basic and personal details for registering themselves in the WBJEE 2020 examination. Candidates can register at official page of WBJEE. Applicants must be careful while filling the registration details. It cannot be changed/edited/modified under normal circumstances. Candidates are advised to note down the system generated application number at the time of registration.

The application number and password will be sent to the registered email address and mobile number of the applicants. Applicants should keep safe the application number and password throughout the admission process of WBJEE 2020.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

Applicants should log in credentials by generated at the time of registration at the official page of WBJEE to complete the remaining part of the application form. In this stage, candidates need to submit the various personal information as mentioned below.

  • PwD Status
  • Home District
  • Family Annual Income Status
  • Religion
  • Nationality

The candidates may have to need to choose any three examination zones/cities as per the choices. Finally, all the details should have to thoroughly check by the candidates before submitting the entered details on the application form.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

The candidates should upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature. The background of the photograph must be very light colour. Before submitting the uploaded documents, verify the documents in the prescribed format as mentioned at the time of form submission. The prescribed format of photograph and signature should be as mentioned follows.

Note: Upload the correct photograph and signature as the facility for correction will not be given.

Step 4: Pay the Examination Fees

After uploading the documents, it will be automatically moved to the fee payments step. The examination fees can be paid by the candidates in the way of online transaction. An application fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances. The applicants have to choose any one of the below-mentioned payments gateway for paying the application fees.

 After successful payment of the application fees, students should have to print the confirmation page for the proof the fees paid. If case the confirmation page is not generated after the payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the candidates have to approach the concerned bank for the refund of the amount.

Note: The additional Processing charges and Goods & Service Taxes (GST) are to be paid by the applicants.

Step 5: Print the Confirmation Page

On successful completion of all the above-mentioned steps, the candidate will automatically be redirected to the option for downloading the “Confirmation Page” which means that the application form is complete. Also, the same information will be repeated in the admit card and the rank card.

The duplicate confirmation page will be provided by the Board if any candidate loses his/her confirmation page after the announcement of result with pay a processing fee of Rs.500 by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board” payable in Kolkata.

WBJEE 2020 Application Form Correction

If the candidate wants to make changes in the filled application, they can make correction in the application form using the edit mode after the correction window will open by the Examination Board. Applicants cannot make changes in the registration fields such as Name, Father & Mother Name, Gender, and Date of Birth.

WBJEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2020 Exam are as follows

  • Candidates must belong to a Citizen of India.
  • Candidates must be a Domicile of West Bengal
  • The Candidates must be 17 Years of Age as on 31st December 2020 .
  • Candidates must have to obtain 45% Marks in 10+2 Examination
  • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ PWD Category Candidates Must Obtain 40% Marks.
