BEL Contract Engineer 2019 Eligibility Details
Electronics: Basic Analog &Digital Electronics, Analog & Digital Communication systems, Microcontroller / Embedded systems & Signal Processing, Power supplies , Power Amplifier & Power electronics. Usage of various test instruments, PCB testing & System integration. Experience in working with ‘C’, Embedded ‘C’, Shell / Python scripting in Linux platform and Lab View, Interface knowledge of RS232, RS422 & Ethernet communication standards.
Mechanical: Material Management, Manufacturing process, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning& Control, Quality Assurance & Inspection, Project Management, Design & Development, Auto-CAD & Solid Works.
Electrical: Measuring instruments such as LCR Meter, Network analysers, automated test equipment, programmable instruments, AC circuits, Rotating machines, Transformers, Transmissions & distributions, testing of electrical machines and should be familiar with aspects of Electrical Safety.

- The Written Examination will consist of objective type questions having four options for each question.
- Out of the four options, only one will be correct and rest three will be wrong.
- The candidate has to choose the correct answer and mark it on the OMR sheet.
- The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The time duration will be 03:00 hours (180 minutes).
- There will also be negative marking of ¼ mark for every wrong answer.

- Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
- Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
- Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
- Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
- Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
- Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.

General Instructions
Interview – Candidates are required to produce all original certificates, a copy of each of them and a recent passport size colour photograph, on the day of the written test / interview.
Note: Candidates who have not completed BE / B Tech. need not apply. Those who are unable to produce their Degree marks cards and certificates in original on the day of the written test / interview for whatever reason will not be considered.
BEL reserves the right to debar/ disqualify any candidate at any stage of the Selection Proceedings, for reasons whatsoever. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION for BEL Contract Engineer 2019
In the online aptitude test hall as well as at the time of interview, the call letter along with original and a photocopy of the candidate’s currently valid photo identity (bearing exactly the same name as it appears on the call letter) such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph / Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph / Aadhar card/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the test.
The following certificates must be kept ready by the candidates for the purpose of verification.
