GATE Exam Pattern 2020 – GATE 2020 exam pattern has the 25 subjects in the list of subjects which is added Biomedical Engineering as the new subject in the GATE 2020 paper pattern. The entrance examination will be held on 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th February 2020. Latest Changes of GATE 2020 Paper Pattern

  • In 2020, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is the organizing institute for conducting the GATE 2020 Entrance Examination.
  • Till 2019 there was totally 24 papers only. In 2019 onwards it changed into 25 papers i.e., Bio-Medical Engineering is the newly added subject into the list of total subjects in the GATE 2020 exam pattern.

Design Pattern of Questions

The GATE exam pattern has the three sections i.e., General Aptitude, Technical, and Engineering Mathematics. The exam pattern may be varied based on the selected subjects by the candidates. The 15% questions from the General Aptitude will be common for all the question paper sections. The basic paper pattern for all the selected subjects is listed below.
