Eligibility Criteria
For Class VI the Boys age should be between 10 to 12 years on March 31 of the year the admission takes place, for Class IX the Boys age should be between 13 to 15 years on March 31 of the year admission is sought. Those who seek class IX admission must be studying Class VIII in any recognized school.

Examination Procedure
AISSEE 2020 was revised to OMR Based Examination. Question papers will be set in Multiple Choice Questions with four options. The examination consists of Two Phases namely Written Examination and Medical Examination. Written Examination for Class VI will be conducted in English, Hindi, and Regional Language and for Class IX it will be conducted in only English. Total Marks for Class VI in the written examination is 300, Class IX is 400 Marks. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the students.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
Minimum Qualifying Marks are set for each category. For General and Children of Defence Service personnel and ex-servicemen, minimum qualifying marks will be 25% in each subject and 40% in aggregate. For SC/ST Students there are no minimum qualifying marks.

Results
Admit card for the written examination will be issued in December first week. The result will be announced on February first week and call letters of the medical examination will be sent to candidates individually. Admission will be strictly based on merit.
