UPSEE 2020 – Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam is conducted by the Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Eligibility Criteria of UPSEE 2020

Students should check and fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying the online application of the UPSEE 2020 examination. Below we have mentioned the basic eligibility criteria as per the courses wise. Hence, aspirants may check and ensure the eligible for the entrance examination of UPSEE 2020.

Age Limit

There is no age limit for appearing the UPSEE 2020 entrance examination for getting admission into various UG/PG courses.

Qualifying Examination

Students should have passed the 10+2 examination pattern with a minimum of 45% marks in the subject’s combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Technical Vocational subject from a recognized Board/University in the state of UP or outside of UP.

Eligibility Criteria for First year of UG/PG Courses

Courses Eligibility
B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Des/MCA (Integrated)/M.Tech (Dual Degree) Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) from the UP Board or any Board/University in each compulsory and one optional subject as mentioned the above table.

A Student passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for the B.Tech course.

BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA (Integrated)/B.Voc Students must have passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category) in aggregate.
B.Arch Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) from the UP Board or any other Board/University.
B.Tech (Agriculture) A student must have passed the qualifying examination or its equivalent examination in the discipline of agricultural subjects with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) from the UP Board or any Board/University
MBA/MCA Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with at least three years duration from any recognized University with minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) of marks.

Note: Candidates who are eligible for admission in B.Tech is also eligible for B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech (Biotechnology).

Eligibility Criteria for Second year (Lateral Entry) of UG/PG Courses

Courses Eligibility
B.Tech Candidates who have passed the three years Engineering Diploma courses from the institution located in the state of UP with at least 45% (40% marks for SC/ST ) marks are eligible for the second year admission in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Candidates who have passed the three years Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the institution located in the state of UP with at least 45% (40% marks for SC/ST ) marks are eligible for the second year admission in Agricultural Engineering.

B.Pharm Students who have passed 2/3 years Diploma Courses in Pharmacy from the institution located in the state of UP with at least 45% (40% marks for SC/ST ) marks are eligible for the second year of B.Pharm.
MCA A candidate must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with at least three years duration from any recognized University with minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) of marks.

A candidate should have passed Mathematics at qualifying or graduation level of examinations.

Note: The direct admission in the second year is not permissible for the courses of B.Arch/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA

UPSEE 2020 Application Form

Students who had satisfy the eligibility criteria of the UPSEE 2020 examination may apply through the online application of the UPSEE exam. Candidates are advised to read carefully the instructions as displayed at the time of starting to fill the online application form.

Necessary Documents needed for filling the Application Form

In this stage, they should have to upload the scanned images of their recent passport size photograph and signature. Before uploading the documents, the candidate should ensure the photograph and signature are in the applicable format as per the instructions.

Marking Scheme of UPSEE 2020

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination has a totally 150 questions in the offline mode of the examination. All the questions will be asked in the format of Objective/Multiple Choice Questions.

How to Download UPSEE Admit Card 2020?

Aspirants should follow the below mentioned simple steps for how to download the UPSEE 2020 admit card.

UPSEE 2020 Counselling

All the shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling based on the merit list in the entrance exam of UPSEE 2020 by giving the intimation through UPSEE official website and Newspaper. Each and every year the number of colleges/Institutions, Courses and seats may be increased or decreased up to the counselling process.

The date of counselling and the number of seats under the various quotas will be informed separately to the concerned candidates. At the time counselling candidates should produce valid original documents to the allotted institutions/colleges for the purpose of verification.

Aspirants should have to submit the certificate of Medical fitness/handicapped while the counselling process.
