Eligibility or Qualification
B.Com(H) or B. Com with 55% marks + CA (Final)/ ICWA (Final)/ MBA (Finance)/PGDM (Finance) + BCK+ 5 years’ experience in any Bank or any Financial Institution in managerial post.
An Applicant must have Bengali as 1st/ 2nd Language in the 10th /12th Standard Examination. If any Applicant does not have Bengali as 1st/2nd Language in the 10th /12th Standard Examination, he/she will have to appear in a Bengali Proficiency Test at the time of Interview/ Viva Voce Test.

The selection for the post of WEBCSC Accountant & Manager will be made on the basis of Written Examination followed by interview of eligible and successful candidates.

Verification of Testimonials : Candidates provisionally listed for interview/viva voce test on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination will have to produce before the Commission all original documents and testimonials for verification, and also have to submit two sets of self-attested copies of the same on the date of Interview/Viva Voce Test. Full Marks: 150; Duration- 2 hours.
Paper 2: The candidates will be called for interview/viva voce test (of 24 marks) as per merit list prepared on the basis of the results of the written examination subject to production of Documents and Testimonials before this Commission for verification thereof.
Total marks: Total Marks will be calculated by adding: – (1) Marks obtained in Paper 1, (2) Marks obtained in Paper 2 and (3) Marks obtained in Interview /Viva Voce Test.
Tips for preparation of written examination
- All candidates should give maximum time to their study regularly.
- Candidates should make their study time or schedule of the day and accordingly start to preparing i.e. make sure to divide your entire time between all related subjects and prepare accordingly daily.
- Candidates requires to maximum use of flow charts and diagram to understand deeply the concern topic.
- Candidates must regular practice to solve old year examination papers; with this you will be able to increase your knowledge as well as time accuracy.
- Group study is very useful to crack any written examination so we therefore advise to all concern contenders to make a group of eligible and suitable friends and study combindly one or two hour in a day and arise your question before them and explain your answer to others too.
- Time breaks is also essential while preparing hard for any written examination so after 2-3 hours study candidates should take a break of 15-20 minutes for mind fresh.
