Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2018 Prelims / Main Recruitment Notification

The High Court of Delhi is making necessary preparations to conduct the written test to select the eminent individuals for the vacant Judicial Services posts. An enormous number of individuals who are looking for the Delhi Govt jobs had applied for the Delhi Judicial Service Exam & Higher Judicial Service Exam 2018. Now, the Delhi HC has decided to conduct the DJS Prelims Exam on 15th April 2018 and Delhi Higher Judicial Service Prelims Exam on Oct 2018. To attend this on scheduled dates, postulants need to carry the Delhi higher Judicial Services Admit Card 2018.

Delhi HC Judicial Service Examination 2018 Prelims / Main Qualification Details

Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate shall be eligible to appear in the examination if he/she is:
  • a citizen of India;
  • a person practicing as an Advocate in India or a person qualified to be admitted as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes, the upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years.
  • The upper age limit is also relaxable maximum by 5 years in the case of Ex-Servicemen.
  • The upper age limit for persons with disabilities shall be relaxable by 10 years.
  • General category disabled candidates would thus be eligible for age relaxation up to 10 years and SC/ST category disabled candidates would be eligible for age relaxation up to 15 years.

Note: The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they ful fill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of examination for which they are admitted by this Court viz. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination (Written) and the Viva voce shall be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
If on verification at any time before or after the Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Written) and the Viva voce, it is found that they do not ful fill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination shall stand cancelled without any notice or further reference.

Admit card Important

  • Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
  • Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
  • Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
  • Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
  • Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
  • Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.
  • Any issue regarding the generation of the admit card can be resolved by contacting the official authorities.

Document verification

The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
