FACT Technician (Process) Specifications
B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry or Diploma in Engineering (Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology (including Petrochemical Technology)) and two-year experience in the operation of a large Fertilizer / Chemical Petrochemical Plant. In the absence of sufficient suitable candidates with the prescribed experience of 2 years, candidates with the prescribed experience will be considered. SC / ST candidates without experience will also be considered in the absence of candidates with experience as above. In such a case, they will be posted as Technician cum trainee on applicable consolidated pay.

Eligibility
Education Qualification
- Full-time regular courses will be considered for the prescribed educational qualification specified under the qualifications. The Qualification acquired through part-time / Correspondence / Distance / Private study / off-campus will not be considered.
- Qualifications must be approved / recognized by UGC / AICTE / AIU. Candidates with qualifications acquired from foreign universities should produce order / letter in this regard under which it has been approved / recognized by AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
- Whenever the important educational qualification has a mention of dual specialization, one of the specializations necessarily needs to be function specific for the post notified.
Percentage of Marks – The minimum percentage of marks in educational qualification in respect of reserved posts for SC, ST and PWBD candidates is 50% where minimum 60% marks and 40% where minimum 50% marks are specified.
Only post qualification experience as on 01.01.2020 will be considered

Selection Process
- Senior Manager (Design- Mechanical) PCE, Senior Manager (Design – Electrical), Assistant Company Secretary posts selection will be made based on the Interview. Other posts selection process will be based on an online test (Computer-based test) and skill test / Interview.
- Deputy Manager, (Finance), Assistant Manager (Finance), Management Trainee (Chemical), Management Trainee (Mechanical), Management Trainee (Fire and Safety), Management Trainee (Marketing) post online test will consist of 2 parts. Part – I is Management Aptitude Consisting of Aptitude, General English, General Knowledge, and Part II – is Technical Aptitude / Subject knowledge in the respective discipline.
- Technician (Process), Technician (Mechanical), Technician (Electrical), Technician (Instrumentation), Technician (Civil), Draughtsman, Craftsman Fitter Cum Mechanic, Craftsman Instrumentation, Assistant General, Assistant Finance, Depot Assistant, Stenographer, Canteen Supervisor posts on line test will consist of 2 parts. Part I- Aptitude and Reasoning and Part II- Subject Knowledge.
The Question will be multiple choice and objective type. Negative marks will be applicable for wrong answers.
Tips for preparation of Written Examination
- All candidates should give maximum time to their studies regularly.
- Candidates should make their study time or schedule of the day and accordingly start to preparing i.e. make sure to divide your entire time between all related subjects and prepare accordingly daily.
- Candidates requires to maximum use of flow charts and diagram to understand deeply the concerned topic.
- Candidates must regular practice to solve old year examination papers; with this, you will be able to increase your knowledge as well as time accuracy.
- Group study is very useful to crack any written examination so we, therefore, advise all concern contenders to make a group of eligible and suitable friends and study combinedly one or two hours in a day and arise your question before them and explain your answer to others too.
