With the advent of independence in August 1947, the 563 princely States of India were gradually integrated into different administrative homogeneous units. The State of Rajasthan, in its present form came into being in different stages. The Matsya union comprising Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli were the first to be ushered in on March 18, 1948. Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment Details
Rajasthan Police Department has announced Recruitment 2018 notification for fill 20000 Constable vacancies. All the interested/eligible candidates may apply through online mode of application on or before 2018.
Eligibility:
Constable in District Police- The candidates must have qualified Secondary Examination (10th class) from a recognized board.
Constable in RAC Battalion- The candidates must have qualified 8th class examination from a recognized board.
Constable Operators- The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary examination in Science Stream with Physics and Math from a recognized board

Revised Running Time and Marks
In the last recruitment, the total running distance was 10 km for male and 5 km for female, ex-servicemen, and Saharia, TSP Area and SC/ ST candidates. The new rule is that only 5 km running is conducted. The merit list is prepared on the basis of completing 5 km race. PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST (PST)
The candidates who qualify in the online (ccomputer-basedtest) of Rajasthan Police Constable recruitment exam are called for the PST (Physical Standard Test). The minimum height, chest/weight measurements (height and weight in case of female candidates). Measurements of the candidates will be taken by the Board as per the norms laid down in the Rajasthan Pólice Subordínate Service Rules, 1989. The Candidates failing to fulfill the minimum standards of height, chest/weight measurements shall be rejected and are not called for the medical or PET test. The qualified candidate in the PET are then subjected to call in the PET exam.

PHYSICAL ENDURANCE/ EFFICIENCY TESTThis test will be competitive for all mále candidates of General, OBC, SBC, SC/ST and Saharia tribe of Shahbad and Kishanganj Tehsils of district Baran & SC/ST candidates of TSP Area. For Female and Ex-servicemen candidates it will be qualifying in nature. Marks will be granted as per the table is given below.
The Physical Efficiency Test will be competitive in nature. Candidates will have to run 5 kilometers distance and the candidates would be granted marks as per the time taken by him/her to complete the run. Details of which are given Above
A. The Maximum Marks allotted for the Constable General Duty and Operator is 15 marks and 10 marks in case of Constable Drivers.
B. After qualifying the Physical Efficiency test, candidates will be considered for award of marks for special qualification (in case of constable General duty) and for Proficiency Test (in case of Constable Drivers)
C. The candidates will undergo the physical Efficiency Test on their own risk. Any candidates falling in Physical Efficiency Test will be disqualifiedImportant Points for Admit card

- Candidates should download the admit card before the date of exam.
- The candidate is advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
