The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview/group discussion. The test will be conducted tentatively on 27.01.2019. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters.

General Awareness
Reasoning
English language
Professional Knowledge
Test of Reasoning: Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
English Language: Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
Professional Related Knowledge: Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed in the Recruitment Rules and related to the trade/profession under the several posts.
Exam Pattern for SBI Deputy Manager 2019 Specialist Cadre Officer 2018
- Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers.
- The minimum qualifying marks will be as decided (or may be waived) at the discretion of Bank. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English (except for test of English Language).
- The candidates will have option to give their answer in Hindi or English (except for test of English Language).
- The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
- There will be 170 Questions/ Marks.
- The question paper will consist of 70 questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning, 35 questions on English Language and 50 questions on Professional Knowledge.
- The time duration will be 2 hours 15 Minutes.
Important Note: Candidates have to score equal to or above the cut-off marks (sectional and overall marks), which will be decided by the Bank, for being considered for shortlisting for interview.

SBI Deputy Manager 2019 Specialist Cadre Officer Admit Card / Hall Ticket
Interview/ Group Discussion: Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview/Group Discussion. Group Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview 30 marks. In case Group Discussion is not held, Interview will carry 50 marks. The qualifying marks in Interview/ Group Discussion will be as decided by the Bank. Conduct of Group Discussion may be waived at the discretion of Bank.
Merit List: Marks secured by the candidates in Group Discussion / Interview out of 50 marks will be converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test out of 100 marks and the converted marks secured in Group Discussion/ Interview out of 25 marks (Total- 125 marks). The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.
