Eligibility or Qualification
MBBS degree included in the First Schedule OR Second Schedule OR Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102) of 1956 with a recognized and requisite Post Graduate Qualification in the respective Speciality and registration as Medical Practitioners in the Medical Council of India, OR any State Medical Council provided that the Candidate, if appointed, must register his/her name in the West Bengal Medical Council within 6months of joining the West Bengal Health Service.
Selection Process
Merit List: The candidates who had filled the application form for the post of WBHRB are invited for the Merit List of the WBHRB Pharmacist & Medical Officer MO 2018. After that qualified candidates will be selected for the next round of competition.
Personal Interview: The candidates who got selected in the Merit List are called for the personal interview of the WBHRB Pharmacist & Medical Officer MO 2018. The final appointment will be made on the basis of the personal interview and documentation.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION for WBHRB GDMO 2019 General Duty Medical Officer
The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
