10+2/ Graduation in Science having Certificate /diploma/degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology / Cardiology Technician / Cardiology Techniques of a reputed institution. Certificate should be a minimum of one year duration and above qualification should have been done full time and not have been obtained through distance learning mode.

Physical Efficiency Test for Safaiwala
Physical Efficiency Test consists of lifting of Weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down. In case of Women 20 Kgs of weight and in case of Men 35 Kgs of weight.
PET is qualifying test. Being called for PET, does not mean call for engagement. 4 times the number of candidates may be called for PET.

Important Instruction for Southern Railway 2018
The engagement of the Para Medical Staff would be on the full time contract basis for a period of one year or up to 30.06.2019 (if the scheme of engagement of Paramedical Staff on contract basis is not extended) or till regularly selected RRB candidates are available whichever is earlier.
The services rendered as Para Medical Staff on contract basis is a stop gap arrangement and will not have any bearing in respect of consideration of their period of service in case of regular selection through RRB.
Full time Contract Staff who enters into contract with the Railways will not have any claim or right for his/her regularisation or absorption in Railway service.
