About Examination Board
State Agricultural Produce Markets Board was established at the state level in the year of 1973 to organize, control and guide various activities and Welfare Schemes of Mandi Samities. Mandi Parishad has played a very important role in implementing various acts in an impressive manner and to get fair behavior and appropriate support prices for their crops to the farmers. As a consequence, the Total Arrivals and income has been increasing with the time. In the Agricultural year of 1972-73, the Total Arrivals of the State were 37.90 Lakh M. Tons while this has been increased in the Agricultural year 2013-14 to 484.42 Lakh M. Tons. Likewise, the Total Income of all the Mandis in 1972-73 was Rs. 1.92 Crores and in 2013-14 it has increased to Rs. 998.84 Crores.

The e-Admit Card will be made available on the website upmandiparishad.upsdc.gov.in.Admit cards will NOT be sent by e-mail/post, they can ONLY be downloaded from the above mentioned website.
The candidate has to bring the printed admit card to the test centre along with at least one original and valid (not expired) ID document for photo identification. It may be noted that one of the following photo identifications is ONLY permitted: Driving license/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Aadhar card.

Language of examination Hindi & English
This will be an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) based Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Paper with one correct Answer out of four alternative choices i.e. A to D.
This paper will be of 2 hours duration with 150 Questions of 1 Mark each, totaling to a maximum of 150 marks.
There will be 05 sections comprising 30 questions each on General English, General Science, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. There will be no Sectional Cut-offs, in this Exam.
However, there will be a negative marking @ 33% for wrong answers. This paper will be a Screening Exam only.
