Technician-III (Welder) – Matriculation (10th) or equivalent plus ITI in the trades of Welder/ Welder (Gas and Electric)/ Gas Cutter/ Structural Welder/ Welder (Pipe)/ Welder (TIG/MIG) OR Matriculation (10th) or equivalent plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades.
Assistant Loco Pilot – Matriculation (10th) or eqivalent plus ITI from recognized institutions of PILOT NCVT/SCVT in the tnuies of Armature and Coil Winder/ Electrician/ Electronics Mechanic/ Fitter/ Heat Engine/ Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV/ Refrigeration and Airconditioning Mechanic/ Tractor Mechanic/ Turner/ Wireman. Selection Process for RRC NER GDCE 2018
Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online application has been accepted will be shortlisted for the written test. Based on their performance in the Computer Based test, Candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the written test and interview.

MEDICAL FITNESS
A person shall be eligible for being trained under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeships Rules, 1992, as amended from time to time, if he or she satisfies the minimum standards of physical fitness as prescribed in the aforesaid Act and Railway medical standards prescribed for imparting training to the relevant trades which will be certified by a Railway Doctor.
Final Selection
Candidates finally enlisted would be subject to verification of original testimonials and being found fit in appropriate Medical examination by Railways as applicable for the Workshop and for the other Units.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION for RRC NER GDCE 2018 ALP, Technician III & Station Master
The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested, viz.: i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of on-line application form. ii) Copy of downloaded Admit Card. iii) Certificate showing the Date of Birth. iv) Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the competent authority. v) Disability Certificate, if applied under PWD category. vi) ‘No Objection Certificate’ if in regular employment. vii) Experience certificate, if any.
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
