TNPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor APP 2018 Grade II Admit Card / Hall Ticket

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Selection will be made in three successive stages viz., (i) Preliminary Examination for selection of applicants for admission to the Main Written Examination (ii) Main Written Examination and (iii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants in the main written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicant’s appearance in the main written examination and oral test is compulsory.

Must possess B.L. degree, Must be a member of the Bar, Must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil and Experience: Must have had active practice in ‘criminal courts’ for a period of not less than five years.
Note: The qualification prescribed for the posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies: 10th + HSC or its equivalent + Bachelor’s degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.

Except the permitted writing material (i.e. pen), applicants are not allowed to bring cellular phones, electronic or any other type of calculators, watches and rings with inbuilt memory notes, recording devices either as a separate piece or part of something used by the applicant such as watch or ring etc or any other electronic devices and non – electronic devices such as P&G design data book, mathematical and drawing instruments, log tables, stencils of maps, slide rules books, notes, loose sheets, rough sheets, hand bags etc., into the examination hall / room.

Hall Tickets for eligible applicants will be made available on the Commission’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net or www.tnpscexams.in so as to enable the applicants to download the same. Hall Tickets will not be sent by post. Hence, applicants should watch the Commission’s website before the scheduled date of examination.

Preliminary Exams

No candidate who has secured less than the minimum qualifying marks specified above shall be eligible for Main Written Examination.
The preliminary examination is conducted for the purpose of short listing the candidates and the marks obtained in the preliminary examination shall not be counted for determining the final order of merit of the candidates.
The question paper will be set in both English and Tamil.

Main Examination

Candidates who have not appeared for any of the papers in the main written examination and oral test will not be considered for final selection

On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
