About Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE)
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) was established in the year 1975 through legislation under the Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education Act. There are two divisions in the Board Jammu Division and Kashmir Division. Functions of JKBOSE are Conducting Public examination, Publishing results, Prescribe Syllabus, Curriculum, Grant affiliation for Secondary and Higher Secondary Classes. Boards focus areas are Innovation in teaching and learning methods, Reforms in examinations and evaluation, Adding job oriented Skills, regular update of skills of teachers’ and administrators.
